Abstract
The purpose of this study was to explore the experiences of service provider and beneficiary, particularly those who were participating in the program called the elderly care by elderly. The participants of this study were two pairs of elders. One of the pairs were a male service provider and a female beneficiary in their late seventies and the other pair were both females in their eighties. Narrative inquiry was used as research methodology. The field texts were composed of interview transcript, field notes, and researcher journal. Through the experiences of participating in the Elderly Care by Elderly service, the participants were making their lives more meaningful, living as independent agency and practicing relational caring.
